Required conditions for sticker application: - the wall must be smooth, clean, not greasy and dry, - the paint should have dried for at least two weeks already.
Prepare the wall1) Clean the wall with a humid cloth and wait a few minutes to let it dry.
Check the effect of the sticker on the wall
2) Put the sticker (together with the paper and transparent layer) on the surface you want it to be applied on. 3) Mark with a pencil the top angles of the paper. It will be easier then to apply the sticker exactly where you want. A little trick: attach it on the wall with tape. It allows you to choose the best place to apply it and check the effect in the room.
Prepare the sticker for application4) Lay the sticker on a big table or on the floor. 5) With a CD box or squeegee, go over the sticker. The aim is to make the sticker stay as much as possible on the transparent layer.
6) Remove the transparent layer (with the sticker on it) from the paper. If the sticker is long, start by the bottom half of the sticker and after removal put it back on the paper. Then remove the top part and keep the bottom part with the silicon paper.
Apply the sticker on the wall7) Apply the sticker on the wall, using the marks you made previously. 8) Glue the sticker on the wall together with the transparent layer; starting from the top and slowly going down, pressing with your hand on the sticker. If the bottom part of the sticker is still on the silicon paper (cf. step 6), remove it when the time comes.
9) Make sure that the sticker is well applied on the wall. Use a cloth on the transparent layer to slick the sticker on the wall.
Wait 15 minutes10) To help the glue stick firmly to the wall, it is recommended to wait approximately 15 min before removing the transparent layer.
Gently remove the transparent layer 11) Grasp the transparent layer starting from the top and gently remove it from both the wall and the sticker. If some pieces of the sticker are staying on the transparent layer, go up with the layer to reglue the pieces to the wall. Use a cloth or a finger to slick this area of the sticker and continue removing transparent layer. Check if the sticker is correctly applied to the wall12) If there are some air bubbles beneath the sticker’s surface use a needle to make a little hole in it and let the air out. Then slick this fragment of the sticker to make the hole invisible.
